Nestled near the heart of Bendigo’s Queen Street, this cozy café offers a calm spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch away from the busier streets. The menu leans into familiar café fare with fresh, wholesome twists — think fluffy pancakes, hearty scrambles, and a variety of options that cater well to vegetarian and vegan diets. There’s also a thoughtful selection of coffee and tea, alongside sweeter treats like their signature freak shakes and raisin toast.
On a typical visit, you’ll find a laid-back atmosphere where solo diners tapping away on laptops sit comfortably alongside families and small groups drawn by the welcoming, informal vibe. The space combines indoor seating with a small sunny outdoor area, both offering easy wheelchair access and convenient parking nearby. Service tends to be attentive and friendly, making it a quiet yet lively spot if you’re after a casual catch-up or a quick bite.
The crowd here tends to appreciate a balance of healthy and indulgent options, with plenty of dishes supporting restricted diets without feeling like compromises. It's the kind of place where local workers, parents with kids, and visitors looking for a relaxed, unpretentious café experience come to recharge with good food and drink.

"I ordered scramble eggs and bacon on sourdough bread."
5 Greetings, I decided to take my son for a quick bite before got his haircut. As we walked in their was a great atmosphere and as we browsed the menu. The pancakes caught our eyes. We ordered 2 and we took a seat and absolutely devoured them. After that i had a great day with my son with the pancakes being the highlight of our day. Thankyou for the great service and food. See you soon.
5 Very fast service, excellent food. Generous serves too. The menu is fairly standard for a breakfast/lunch cafe, but fresh and there were OK options for vegos and folks with restricted diets. Recommend the GF eggs Ben. V good
5 The best scramble eggs ever. Coffee and tea served and is great. Highly recommend you give it a try. Out door seating in the sun.
4 Excellent coffee & outstanding service. It seems like a traditional homeade cafe.I recommend
4 Healthy, friendly family run cafe. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is tasty, healthy and fresh, the price is a little steep for the quantity of food served. The coffee, chai and milkshakes were very nice. There is a large selection of very healthy foods, most of which can be vegetarian or vegan. Approx 10 tables inside and 4 outside with only half the cafe wheelchair accessible due to stairs halfway through the shop. We had to adult and two kids meals. The kids meals came out first, to my liking and they loved their milkshakes. Overall, a place to eat if you are looking for a healthier option.
5 A great place to relax. Wonderful service, they all so nice. Everytime we go in .
5 Have you ever been to the Everbean Café? Feeling like something a bit different for lunch. I popped into the cafe. I decided on the soup, which was Cauliflower. It came with what I think was a toasted crunchy Ciabatta bread. This simple meal, which I had inside the café, was just sensational and really hit the spot. The customer service was also excellent. The staff all had smiles, and nothing was too much trouble. There is also seating inside and out. Well done to the team!!!
Customers love the Easter Freak Shake, Banana Butterscotch Pancakes, and the gluten-free eggs Benedict.
